Zoom R24

It looks like Zoom finally overshot themselves. With this collection of Zoom R24 Reviews, we want to bring to notice a couple of points to right buyers, who might slip and fall into the marsh.

Although the Zoom R 24 compares more than favorably to multitrack recorders in its price plane, it may not be the right product for everyone.

Zoom R24

The Zoom R24 comes built-in sampler, drum machine, eight additional recording tracks and six channels of phantom-power. As with the rest of the field, this box merges four production tools into one device – a digital multi-track recorder, an audio interface, a control surface and a pad sampler.

This unit can record up to 8 tracks simultaneously and playback up to 24 tracks in either 16-bit/44.1 khz or 24-bit/48 khz W.A.V. format. This way, you can suitably record your band’s live performances or your complete drum kit. You have the option of recording through two built-in stereo condenser microphones for field recording or quick, just-born ideas and rehearsals, or you can connect your guitars/basses directly.

We’re very pleased with the sound quality on this workstation, it is glaringly obvious that Zoom left a lot of scope for improvement on this particular box.

Recorder

signature Zoom style, this unit offers an amazingly easy-to-use and intuitive user experience. The size, weight, and general feel of the station immediately display an excellent degree of portability. Our unit displayed, it is tough to argue with the fact that Zoom R24  recorder made a very compact, very portable multitracke recorder, and packed it full of features.

here’s lies our bone of contention.

– Effects: Users report poor quality of built in patches and effects including the drum machine
– Noise: Users say oversensitive mic quality, continuous tone, or sound.
– Display Problems – Either not having enough screen space, or poor display quality overall.
